Aurora

Before I was me, I used to be a dream

Like a wisp of a cloud

Like the trickle of a stream

I used to have longing

I longed to be free

With the wings of a seagull

Ride the waves of the sea

That night we were dancing

With the lights in the sky

We were part of the darkness

We were trapped in a high

We rose with the dawn

With the sun in our eye

With no reason to believe

Our love would ever die

We wished upon the stars

For a sign that we belong

And the beauty overwhelmed, as

Aurora danced to our song

We fell to our knees

For the moment was truth

But it was only an enchantment

That was meant for our youth
