Fire no longer burns
In these dark hollow sockets,
Just two chunks of ice endure
Dried have the salty ravines of desire
Like a brook from a glacier
My cold tears shall pour
Unrecognizable, just a blur
Blotches of memories smudged
Like a horizon smeared by the rain,
Too many times we’ve said goodbye
Thus, these are not tears of sorrow
Not tears of regret, nor tears of pain
Neither is there rage in my heart
I’m not the least bit broken or bitter
For I have retracted all of me
Remains just to empty all of you
To a damp cold pillow
My cold tears run free
