Everything changed
My world that used to be about me
Became about little blue booties
And Disney branded bibs
My brain began gathering new data
Sorting only relevant information
Each day I would be unbelieving
Gazing pensive upon perfection
Counting tiny toes and fingers
Memorizing each detail
Hanging on to each moment.
